IAP2 membership reinforcing standout stakeholder engagement

Priority Communications has long assisted clients with achieving their stakeholder engagement and community consultation needs, and now the team are proud to be Engagement Consultancy Members of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia.

While several team members have previously completed IAP2 qualifications and training, the engagement consultancy membership illustrates the company’s ongoing commitment to championing best practice.

“Consultation and engagement are central to the work we do, so we are very pleased be aligned with the peak body representing community engagement practice,” Director Michele Hider says.

“Being able to communicate complex issues that require community input and reaching those people in the most effective ways is something we really enjoy delivering. We know that doing engagement well makes a huge difference for organisations, especially when important decisions are at stake, or you need to ensure strong relationships with the people and groups are who most to you.”

As IAP2 Australasia members, Priority Communications upholds the association’s core values and ethics of consultation and engagement, ensuring effective, best practice approaches for businesses and organisations seeking to speak to and hear from their communities.

IAP2 Australasia is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to advance the community engagement profession.

It advocates for genuine community engagement that aligns with the IAP2 Quality Assurance Standard; publishes and awards best-practice approaches by those in the field; and leads the professionalisation of the sector through education, events, professional development, research and standards.
