Suzi Brown
Graphic Designer

Suzi joined Priority Communications in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of design experience to the team.

Her passion for design and typography started at a young age after being enchanted by vintage magazines and retro advertisements. Although she initially studied travel and tourism after finishing high school, it wasn’t long until she discovered graphic design and found her true calling.

Since gaining her Certificate and Diploma of Communication Arts and Design from the Design & Arts College of New Zealand, Suzi has worked for several organisations including Lincoln University, Environment Canterbury, University of Canterbury Students Association (UCSA), Langham Signs, and Aged Advisor. She also has extensive experience in designing for conferences and events; the retirement and aged care sector; and building and vehicle signage. Suzi is highly skilled at working across multiple brand identities as well as designing for digital and print publications.

One of the things Suzi says she loves most about graphic design is looking at each project as a visual equation and the feeling she gets from seeing all of the elements come together like a jigsaw puzzle.

When she isn’t working or spending time with her whānau and two daughters, you’re likely to find Suzi out in nature running (she has completed three half marathons) or at a gym class; getting involved in her Southshore community and church; or reading a good book with some equally good chocolate.
